'Tis the Season...

I am watching snowflakes falling outside my window as I type... OK, I'm so not ready for snow!!  But I do love the season of THANKS that starts as soon as November comes, which seems to come sooner each year.
             "Oh, November,
              So soon, November...
So soon the falling of the leaves
And the following of the snow."  ~ Kent Miles

It's time to remember to have an attitude of gratitude for God's gifts and blessings in my life, especially family, friends, and freedom.  We have been using a dry-erase marker to write down "Thankful Things" on the front of the refrigerator, and they all seem to focus around those three things.

And to bring a little cheer for the season, I designed a fun little table runner I call Bloomin' Blossoms for Christmas.  Here's a preview:

Bloomin' Blossoms for Christmas

The ladies of the Midway Heritage Quilters had a great time making these last week at their all-day retreat, and I'll post pictures later.  Downloadable PFD Patterns are available now.

So, Snow, come on down!  I'll be all snug and cozy inside, surrounded by my family, friends and my cheery quilts!
