Virtual Cookie Exchange

My cute friend Carol at Just Let Me Quilt is hosting a Virtual Cookie Exchange Blog Hop this week!

Hop on over to our family blog, 3rDegreeBakery, where I'm sharing one of my all-time favorites, Praline Shortbread.  This cookie will change your life!

Each day, 4 or 5 of us will share our favorites.  See the list HERE.  Today's recipes inspired me.  And now, I'm thinking I should make half a batch with pecans and half a batch with walnuts.

Then I could use my slotted quilting ruler with a pizza cutter to cut out my cookie bars in squares and/or triangles and arrange in to a tasty cookie quilt block to take to guild meeting....  Delicious!

Delicious!

  2. I used a roll of those slice and bake cookies and sliced them, then cut each slice into triangles. I re-arranged them a-la Stack and Whack style and made beautiful pinwheel cookies for my guild one year.
