The Hills Are Alive in our Small Town...

Fourth of July... Artists lining the street painting the town (the Plein Air art competition)... the Sound of Music ringing in the hills (I play the Reverend Mother Abbess)... And a wonderful little "Small Town Quilt Show" at the Zermatt Resort... Come and celebrate the Fourth of July in our Small Town!

Of course I have my hand in anything quilting in our little valley, and as part of the committee for the quilt show, helped to make the cutest "Opportunity Quilt" ever. Tricia Mathis, Yvonne Stewart and I worked together to design and make the quilt, then Yvonne embroidered and quilted it on her home machine. You can purchase an "opportunity" to win the quilt for $2 per ticket, or 3 chances for $5. Tickets are available at the quilt show and at intermission during the Sound of Music. Check out all the events going on in the Hills of Heber Valley http://www.highvalleyarts.org/
