Celebrate! (and a giveaway!)

CELEBRATE good times, come on!

So grateful for our son's service and safe return!
It's been a big party around here...
 My honey came armed...↑
We've had a lot to celebrate!
I love living in a small community!
The Firetruck met us at the edge of town, picked up our soldier
and paraded him down Main Street with lights flashing
and sirens blaring and all the way home.
A Hero's Welcome!

And, since this is a quilting blog,
in honor of my son,
(and the fact that we have passed 10,000 views of this blog--
how did I miss that?  Oh, yeah,  we were celebrating!)
I am giving away a KIT and first draft PATTERN
to make this Table Topper

Here are 3 chances to enter the drawing:
1)  Post a comment/greeting for our soldier
2)  Follow this Blog
3)  Follow our new Facebook page
Winner will be selected on Friday - 10/21/11at 7pm, MST!

A Soldier's Star pattern available soon!
Right now, it's time to CELEBRATE!!

***UPDATE!!!***
Random.org just picked my winner -  it's GrammaSheri!!
CONGRATULATIONS!

  30. I'm sure you were holding your breath the whole time your son was in Afghanistan. I'm so glad your son is safely home. My son is in the Marine Corps and is scheduled to deploy next August. I might be asking you next September for some advice on how to cope with it all. hehe. Please tell your son how much I and the American people appreciate his duty and service. Also, Thank you and your family as I know you guys have also sacrificed and suffered while he's been away. Like you said though, now is the time for a Celebration! I'm so glad your town gave him a Hero's Welcome. That's what your son and our military men and women are.. Heros!!

Thank you Deonn for the giveaway. What a super table topper. I love it.
