Feeling Summery...
My friend Kathy made this beautiful quilt as a wall-hanging for her daughter-in-law.
She wanted it to have a seaside effect.
Seashells, starfish, water ripples, pebble beach, a little seaweed, a few seahorses and secret fish, a message in a bottle. Batiks. Seaside. Summertime. I know it's just around the corner, but after awaking to the sound of avalanche control detonations last week, Summer is still a little ways out. But I can dream.
