Hexagamis, winner, and an invitation...

Dimensional Folded Hexagon Flowers on Cutting Corners @ Riley Blake Designs

Just wanted to thank everyone for participating in the Olfa Splash giveaway this week!  It was also fun for me to share these fun dimensional hexagons with you!

I don't know about you, but I've been dreaming Hexagonally... is that a word?  I see hexagons everywhere, even noticed them in the bathroom floor tiles at a hotel the other day!  And we filmed another RBD video this week, highlighting hexagon projects using Lori Holt's Half-Hexie rulers; can't wait for you to see!

Here's a slideshow of hexagami-makers at the Riley Blake Designs booth at Quilt Market, and now includes a few more hexagami flowers from our giveaway participants who sent in pictures: Mara, Crudis, Kristin and Lisa.  Hexie fun!

And now for the GIVEAWAY winner...

Congratulations to "MissEnota" aka Kristin (from Minnesota, I'm guessing!)
#124 - chosen by the most up-to-date, random number picker out there:
my husband.  (Honey, pick a number between 1 and 159)
Kristin is one of those who sent pictures of her new Hexagami flower pin.
See? it was worth the extra effort!

She'll receive a new Olfa SPLASH rotary cutter,
a Half-Hexie ruler for 5" squares,
and a selection of leftover fabrics (RBD basics
from my Make & Takes at Quilt Market.  Enjoy!

I have started a new Hexagami Flickr Group, and would like to invite you to upload pictures of your hexagami projects!  Here's the Link:  HEXAGAMI.  Will you use them in a quilt or other project? How about a headband or on a bag?  Can't wait to see your creativity!

Congrats again to Kristin, and Happy Hexigami!
