I ♥ Craftsy! The patterns are in a digital format to download immediately. And I can take classes on any crafty topic any time of the day or night. Some of my favorites have been a zipper class and artisan bread making, not to mention all the other fun, quilty classes available.
Have you designed a quilt pattern or block? Sign up for a Craftsy account, put your pattern into a .PDF format and upload it to Craftsy! There is currently no cost for sharing your patterns - and payments are processed through PayPal.
Want to make your own Carpenter's Star? Check it out HERE: http://www.craftsy.com/pattern/quilting/home-decor/a-carpenters-star/585
or see my other patterns HERE: http://www.craftsy.com/user/49786/pattern-store
I also love how Craftsy allows you to upload a picture of your finished project using a Craftsy pattern. That is immensely satisfying, to see other people achieve success with your instructions - It's kinda like watching children grow up, or something. By the way, these are all my own, unsolicited opinions.
I feel the same way about taking and teaching classes. If I can learn or share just one idea that can make a difference, then it is always worthwhile! I'll share more about recent classes in another post. Let's just say, it makes me happy, happy, happy. ;)
I love looking to se what is happening over at craftsy.
