Riley Blake Designs has some amazing artists designing luscious fabrics! Indigo Garden is a beautiful new line designed by Heather Peterson of Anka's Treasures. With these deep, rich, yummy colors, and a ton of prints in the collection - it was hard to decide which to use!

What is it about those cherry reds? And isn't this "Sashiko" the sweetest print?
Why yes, I ♥ MY STASH! And, I'll keep on stitchin' on! Look how the words lined up perfectly on my binding!
I love that indigo is becoming a new "neutral"! I wasn't brave enough to try it strictly as a background for this project, but the few select prints I used are perfect in my new table runner.
Fabric: Indigo Garden by Heather Peterson for Riley Blake Designs
Pattern: Oh, My Stars! (& Garters) 24" x 60" Table/Bed Runner
Machine Quilting Design: Squared by Leisha Farnsworth
I've made this quilt many times: bed-size, lap-quilt size, wall hanging, pillow, and table topper. This new runner was just what I needed to round out my collection! I'll be teaching this quilt as a class for the Lake Powell Quilt Retreat next month. It's a fun one to make, with open centers for fussy cut fabric, applique', embroidery or just leave plain. Find the pattern at Quiltscapes' Etsy Shop.
Indigo Garden is making its way to quilt shops now! Hurry to get your hands on some of these lovelies!
such a gorgeous table runner! I love the pattern and the fabric you used, and the little applique flower on the center star is the perfect touch!! hmm...off to find your pattern and the fabric! :-)PS, were you able to preform with the Choir at Conference? I tried to look for you, but no success.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Helen!
DeleteP.S. Yes! I'll get a few more broadcasts and Christmas Concert before officially retiring from the choir in January, if all goes as planned!
