My friend Kathryn makes a quilt for each of her grandchildren, and she's got a bunch!  She has them pick the colors to make it their own.  She was a little worried about using solids for this one.  No worries, Kathryn!  Your Carpenter's Star quilt is elegant and beautiful!  

She also made this lovely Barn Star - simply Gorgeous!

I hope that Kathryn's grandkids will come to know what treasures they are receiving!  They will be wrapped up in a big, warm hug of their Grandma's love for years and years to come!
