A few months ago, I made a little special quilt for our granddaughter, version #1 of my Nestled Stars quilt (see post). The fabric is charming, sweet and soft, and I had a little leftover border fabric, so I made this sweet little Bubble Suit.
This is a pattern similar to little outfits I made for my own girls when they were babies, McCall's #2789.
I also got to use my snap applicator tool - I knew it would come in handy again someday!
Now, this little dolly has grown big enough to fit her outfit!

There’s nothing sweeter than seeing a wee one on a quilt. Love the little bubble outfit. It’s perfect for Hawaii!
ReplyDeleteNothing makes me love a baby quilt than having a baby upon it! Such a cutie, both the quilt and the little one :)
ReplyDeleteThe quilt, bubble suit and bunny are all adorable, but your granddaughter outshines them all!!!
ReplyDeleteSo adorable and stitching for grand babies is the best!
