Awwww! Babies & Bunnies


A few months ago, I made a little special quilt for our granddaughter, version #1 of my Nestled Stars quilt (see post).  The fabric is charming, sweet and soft, and I had a little leftover border fabric, so I made this sweet little Bubble Suit.

This is a pattern similar to little outfits I made for my own girls when they were babies, McCall's #2789.


I also got to use my snap applicator tool - I knew it would come in handy again someday!


Now, this little dolly has grown big enough to fit her outfit!








I agree with what everyone has told me:  Grandbabies are the best!  Thank heaven for technology that lets me see her growing up, even if she is 3000 miles away.  Can't get enough of this little lady!

    There’s nothing sweeter than seeing a wee one on a quilt. Love the little bubble outfit. It’s perfect for Hawaii!

    Nothing makes me love a baby quilt than having a baby upon it! Such a cutie, both the quilt and the little one :)
