I am thrilled to be teaching at the GARDEN OF QUILTS event to be held at Thanksgiving Point in Lehi, Utah this Fall, September 15-18th.
I'll be teaching the following three classes:
1) Iridescent Star. A delightful explosion of color, this quilt is a great way to build your skills!
I taught this as a virtual class for the Utah Quilt Guild last Spring! It was definitely color therapy! I especially love sharing some of my favorite tips, quick tricks and great little tools that we can use to make this fun quilt. You can see more details HERE (< scroll to the bottom of the page for details), then sign up!
2) Binding & Alternate Endings. This life-altering class will arm you with tips and tricks and more ideas to help finish your quilts with flair!
Always my most popular class, this one SOLD OUT quickly, then as Covid restrictions relaxed they added more seats and it SOLD OUT a second time! Now they have scheduled the class in a different room which doubled the class size and allows twice as many seats! Don't miss out, sign up now! See more details HERE.
3) Fun Curved Piecing. Learn and master curved piecing as Deonn shares some of her favorite "no-fail" tips and tricks to get started or polish up your technique. Fun curves ahead! Design possibilities are endless! See more details HERE.
Taught a couple of sessions of this class at the Dixie Quilt Guild last April. These blocks are just a few of the dozens of design possibilities using the same 16 units! The block made in class can stand alone as a little wall hanging or topper, or kickstart a larger quilt. So fun!
This show, along with the beautiful garden setting of Thanksgiving Point will be wonderful! Two years ago, I volunteered at the show, helping with trunk shows and classes. My daughter and I had several quilts hanging in the gardens that year (see this POST). It is just so lovely!
I can't wait to rub shoulders with many industry rock stars who will be teaching and sharing their trunk shows! Here's a list of the PRESENTERS. Wow!
Hope to see you there!!
Oh, I had wanted to come down this year, but our daughter is expecting her first child just about this time. So I'm staying put! Glad your classes are filling up. Garden of Quilts is in a lovely setting and is certain to grow each year. Have fun!

It sounds like you are going to have a lot of students, but a fun class. The quilt showing looks like so much fun.
ReplyDeleteI was so delighted to secure a set for my mom in the Binding & Alternate Endings class!
